This new edition of the "ISSN Manual. Cataloguing Part" is a revision of the "ISSN Manual. Cataloguing Part", published in 2003.

This edition is established in accordance with the new edition of the ISO Standard on ISSN (ISO 3297) and incorporate into the Manual the profiles of the bibliographic formats MARC 21 and UNIMARC, used to make the ISSN registrations.
